About Edward
Edward Echtle has a lifelong passion for Pacific Northwest history. He holds an MA in US History from Western Washington University, with extensive experience in ethnic relations, immigration, labor and industrial research. He was adjunct faculty at The Evergreen State College and Saint Martin’s University, served on the Thurston County Historic Commission, Olympia Heritage Commission and on the Tacoma Landmarks Commission. Currently Edward serves on the board of the Olympia Historical Society & Bigelow House Museum.
